James B. Schaffer, 57, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 29, 2012.

Jamie was born in Akron to the late Donald and Marie Schaffer.

He leaves behind, his loving wife, Cindy, of 32 years; daughter, Shannon (Jason) Brown; son, Eric (Linda) Marchion; grandchildren, Becky and Nicholas; brother, Donald; nephew, Donny; niece, Lisa Thompson; and great-nephew, Donnie.

Jamie will be dearly missed by many other relatives and friends, including his beloved dog, Shadow.
