Edward T. Barkley-Hanson I

Edward T. Barkley-Hanson I, 61, passed away suddenly in his home on September 10th. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., but will forever call Akron his home regardless of mailing address. 

He is survived by his sons, Edward II (Bethany), Daniel (Rebecca, grandson Evan), David (Holly), and Eric (Magen); also by his mother, Jessie (Thom); brother, David (Sandy); sisters, Debbie, Pam (Sam), and Sarah.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 27th 10:30 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Committal Shelter #1) with a wake to follow at the Hibernian Club, (2000 Brown St., Akron, Ohio). In lieu of flowers cold weather apparel donations can be made to Stand Down of Summit County. We will also have a donation box at the wake.
